About the role#
Wolfspeed is seeking a Test/Defect Equipment Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026. This is a full-time, paid 11-week internship based in Marcy, New York. You will work within the manufacturing operations organization to gain hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment and instrumentation.
What you'll do#
- Work on optical and electrical test equipment.
- Learn how to manage, maintain, and bring up new or existing equipment.
- Develop an understanding of equipment calibration and instrumentation concepts.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- Ability to think on your feet and brainstorm fresh ideas.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a drive for problem-solving.
