About the role#
This internship offers college students an 8-10 week development experience. You will explore the insurance industry and learn how different divisions contribute to the organization. This role provides insight into our business culture while you build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Learn about insurance, industry workflows, and various organizational divisions.
- Gain analytical, technical, and decision-making skills through formal and informal training.
- Complete special projects that assist your department.
- Finish all assigned training modules.
- Network with senior leaders, experienced teammates, and other interns.
- Receive regular feedback throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a data-related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain professional composure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Interest in pursuing a career in insurance services.
- Previous work experience or internship.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude.
