About the role#
This internship offers an 8-10 week development experience for college students. You will explore the insurance industry and the CRC Group organization. The role provides insight into how different entities contribute to the overall success of the business. You will work with various teammates to expand your knowledge of insurance while developing leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
What you'll do#
- Learn about insurance, industry workflows, and various divisions within the organization.
- Gain analytical, technical, and decision-making skills through formal and informal learning.
- Complete special projects and assignments to support department goals.
- Finish all prescribed training.
- Network with senior leaders, experienced teammates, and other interns.
- Receive regular feedback throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining professional composure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Flexibility in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Leadership aptitude.
- Previous work or internship experience is preferred, as is an interest in pursuing a career in insurance services.
