About the role#
The Quality Intern will join the team at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility to support the production process, monitor quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. This is a full-time, paid internship offering hands-on experience in project management, action planning, and collaborative teamwork within the manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Take a leading role in implementing updated process controls.
- Assist in improvement projects and implement preventive measures to reduce future defects and process risks.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to analyze and track data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product and order compliance.
- Participate in group projects and present progress to site leadership through mid-term and final report outs.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
