EHS Intern

About the role#

The EHS Intern will join the Environmental, Health, & Safety team to support the maintenance of a safe and compliant workplace. This role focuses on proactive risk reduction and the implementation of safety standards across manufacturing operations. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

What you'll do#

• Implement engineering controls and conduct post-risk assessments.
• Identify ergonomic hazards and propose improvements to enhance workplace safety.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote and maintain safe work practices.
• Support the team in ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
