About the role#
Coveo is looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join the DevTooling team within Platform Engineering. You will contribute to the tools and infrastructure that developers across the company use daily. This role focuses on improving the software delivery lifecycle and the CI/CD ecosystem. You will gain hands-on experience with how software is built, deployed, and maintained at scale.
What you'll do#
- Engage in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and plans.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain effective communication.
- Manage and resolve assigned Jira tickets.
- Contribute to real-world projects, including coding, testing, and deploying solutions for clients.
- Participate in code review sessions to offer feedback and receive technical advice.
- Ask questions and explore new technologies to strengthen your programming skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science in Quebec.
- Legal entitlement to work full-time in Canada for the 15-week internship.
- Previous experience with an internship.
- Proficiency in Python.
- A strong sense of ownership over your work.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working in teams.
- Curiosity regarding DevOps, infrastructure, and CI/CD.
- Interest in learning technologies such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitOps, and Terraform.
- Participation in hackathons or personal projects.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
