About the role#
Corteva Agriscience is seeking students for our Summer 2027 Sales Associate Internship Program. You will work alongside Territory Managers and industry professionals to gain hands-on experience in our commercial business. This role provides exposure to the crop protection and seed sectors while building your professional network in the agribusiness industry.
What you'll do#
- Support local sales and agronomy activities within your assigned territory.
- Assist with product launches, customer events, field tours, and demonstrations.
- Help establish, maintain, and evaluate field trials and demo plots.
- Collect and analyze field observations and agronomic data.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to support customer engagement and sales initiatives.
- Build relationships with retail partners and farming customers.
- Develop your knowledge of crop protection products, seed technologies, crop management practices, and weed identification.
- Strengthen professional skills including communication, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a diploma or bachelor degree in agriculture, agribusiness, crop science, agronomy, or a related field.
- Passion for agriculture and a desire to learn about the crop input industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- A farm background or familiarity with agricultural production practices is an asset.
- Students pursuing a business degree with a strong agricultural background are encouraged to apply.
- Previous agriculture, sales, customer service, or leadership experience is preferred.
