About the role#
Crystal Valley is hiring interns for the summer of 2027. You will work from May to August at our Jackson, Minnesota location. This is a full-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience in the agronomy sales field. You will work with our staff to learn about our products and services while gaining exposure to real-world operations.
What you'll do#
- Work with the sales team to scout crops, identify pests, and develop agronomic recommendations.
- Engage with customers to provide service and value.
- Help with in-season operations such as seed delivery, sorting, product returns, and inventory management.
- Perform field tasks including soil sampling, plant tissue sampling, and nutrient testing.
- Use integrated pest management practices and assist with aerial application and plant operations.
- Learn to operate equipment and maintain facilities.
- Attend professional development and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- A background in agriculture or ag retail.
- Basic skills in equipment operation.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- A willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
