About the role#
Corpay is looking for a Legal Extern to join our team in Louisville. This is an on-site, paid position designed for students who need to complete 100 hours of work to receive university credit. You will work directly with our legal team to support our financial services operations.
What you'll do#
- Research laws, regulations, and case law.
- Draft memos, summaries, and internal guidance for attorneys.
- Review contracts, NDAs, and agreements by flagging key terms, risks, or inconsistencies.
- Organize legal files and support compliance initiatives.
- Track deadlines and assist with internal legal projects or audits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
- Pursuit of a Juris Doctor, or a degree in Law, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Maturity and a high level of professionalism.
- Commitment to completing 100 hours of work for university credit.
