About the role#
As an Imaging Student Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiology imaging procedures under the direct supervision of a registered technologist. This role is designed for students to gain clinical experience while supporting our radiology department. You will not work shifts alone or perform independent procedures in trauma or operating room settings.
What you'll do#
- Perform diagnostic radiology imaging procedures and related techniques.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining expectations and gathering necessary information.
- Document patient care and procedure details.
- Use hospital information systems and radiology equipment.
- Follow department policies and safety protocols for specific imaging modalities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a JRCERT-accredited education program.
- Status as a senior student or active participation in the clinical phase of your program.
- Good standing within your educational institution.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Background in Biomedical Sciences.
