About the role#
We are looking for an accounting intern to join our team in Norwalk. This is a part-time position requiring 15 to 20 hours per week during the year, with the potential for increased hours during the summer. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your classes. This is a hybrid role, and you will be expected to work from our office 3 days each week.
What you'll do#
- Prepare month end journal entries for corporate entities.
- Organize, process, and code invoices for payment.
- Process outgoing wires and manage other cash activities.
- Assist the team with annual audit and tax engagements.
- Support staff on special projects and financial analysis.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
