About the role#
The Committee for Public Counsel Services is seeking a creative intern to support statewide recruitment and outreach efforts. This role focuses on developing strategies and materials to increase awareness of private attorney panel opportunities. Interns will collaborate with the Communication Director and Content Creator to build a professional portfolio while supporting a mission-driven organization dedicated to access to justice. This internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop creative content for social media platforms to support attorney recruitment and engagement.
- Create video content for the website that highlights the experiences of private panel attorneys, staff, and interns.
- Design recruitment materials including flyers, brochures, advertisements, and digital content.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns to raise awareness about private attorney opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, journalism, or digital media.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate information clearly.
- An interest in public service, social justice, access to justice, or mission-driven work.
- Access to a personal computer with home internet access sufficient to work remotely.
Location & details#
- This is a remote internship based in Boston, Massachusetts, though it may require travel to different office locations as needed.
- This position is unpaid. The organization can work with students to support the receipt of externship credit.
- Preference will be given to applications received prior to August 15, 2026.
