FWS Micro Intern (Materials Review and Feedback)

About the role#

The FWS Micro Intern (Materials Review and Feedback) is a short-term, project-based role supporting the Workday Change Management and Training Teams. This position involves reviewing student-facing materials to ensure they are clear, accurate, and student-centered. This is a project-based role with a total commitment of 10 to 40 hours during the Summer 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Review and provide feedback on student-facing communications, including emails, web content, user guides, and FAQs.
• Serve as a representative student voice to ensure messaging reflects authentic student perspectives.
• Evaluate materials related to the new student information system (SIS) to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with project teams, functional leads, and communication specialists to refine messaging.
• Test and validate the effectiveness of communications and user guides through usability reviews.
• Identify content gaps and recommend enhancements, including updated templates and knowledge base contributions.

What you'll need#

• An accepted Federal Work Study award for the 2025-26 academic year.
• Enrollment in at least six credit hours in a degree or certificate program.
• Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to the Columbus campus.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

• Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-site)
• Term: Summer 2026
• Compensation: $17.50 per hour
• Hours: 10-40 hours total project time; maximum 20 hours per week during Monday-Friday office hours (8 am – 5 pm).
