About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Hill’s Pet Nutrition, you will contribute to our Global Supply Chain operations. You will own a hands-on project from the initial planning stage through to completion. Throughout the summer, you will collaborate with diverse teams, network with peers, and interact with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Lead a project from start to finish.
- Map out the production process for dry pet food to help visualize workflows.
- Work with different departments to gather insights and solve problems.
- Present your findings, takeaways, and suggested improvements to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Analytics.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work off-shift hours.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Experience with CAD software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred.
