About the role#
The Summer Intern for Field Operations will participate in an 11-week program designed to provide hands-on experience within the food and beverage industry. You will work alongside field leaders and frontline employees to understand operational processes and business performance. This role is based in Winter Haven and requires full-time availability from May 17th to July 30th, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in areas such as sales, manufacturing, distribution, merchandising, customer operations, or business development.
- Assist with projects focused on improving efficiency, productivity, customer service, and sales performance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to customer and account management.
- Participate in field visits, facility operations, and customer meetings.
- Complete an internship project addressing a real business challenge and present findings to the executive leadership team.
- Engage in professional development, networking, and mentorship opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with executive-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer applications and basic data interpretation skills.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets MVR policy guidelines.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter with a focus on results, time management, and project execution.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn across different areas of the business.
- Prior food or beverage industry experience is a plus.
