About the role#
This summer 2026 internship program offers students hands-on experience within poultry production and live operations. Participants gain exposure to the full production process and supporting departments including Safety and Quality Assurance. Successful interns may have the opportunity to transition into full-time roles upon completion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various poultry production and live operations positions to understand the production lifecycle.
- Gain exposure to operational support functions like Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Contribute to business goals through innovative ideas and value creation.
- Collaborate with team members while developing professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester of school remaining.
- Preference is given to students studying Agriculture, Poultry Operations, or related fields. Students pursuing Business Administration or Psychology are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- A motivated, self-starting attitude with a desire to learn from others.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time summer internship.
- Primary locations include Springdale, Arkansas, and Rose, Oklahoma.
- Priority is given to candidates currently local to the facility areas.
- Housing assistance is available for eligible candidates.
