About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Seguin, Texas. You will gain hands-on experience in industrial and engineering technologies while working directly with our maintenance teams. This role involves exposure to various manufacturing environments and requires a commitment to our safety programs.
What you'll do#
- Cross-train across the department to build practical skills in industrial and engineering technologies.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities through process and safety improvement projects.
- Collaborate with the continuous improvement team on specific initiatives.
- Troubleshoot technical problems by applying job knowledge and communicating with your team.
- Present a report or presentation on an improvement project at the end of your internship.
- Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold our safety culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited Bachelor's degree program for Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Ability to interpret and apply ISO work instructions and standard operating practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to work in environments with extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and uneven surfaces, including the ability to push or pull up to 90 lbs and carry 50 lbs.

- Location: Seguin, Texas.
- Schedule: Full-time hours, including 40-hour weeks during the summer months.
- Modality: On-site.
