About the role#
As a Manufacturing Planning Intern, you will work alongside operations and engineering leaders at our Cleveland facility. You will focus on the planning and scheduling of operating units to support customer delivery goals. This role involves data analysis, process automation, and inventory management.
What you'll do#
- Build production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Manage WIP inventories.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to plan unit schedules and expedite orders.
- Use Microsoft Excel and SQL Server Management Studio to retrieve, filter, and validate data.
- Prepare and issue daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Analyze operational data to identify themes and recommend actions.
- Support the production forecast planning process.
- Automate manual Excel tasks and maintain existing automated reports using task scheduler.
- Assist with the company-wide delivery improvement initiative.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Completion of your sophomore year by the summer of 2027.
- Current legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
