About the role#
The Digital Infrastructure Intern works with IT professionals to learn how servers, cloud technologies, operating systems, and infrastructure services keep business applications running. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the support and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, and cloud-based technologies.
- Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
- Support projects involving infrastructure upgrades, technology implementations, and cloud migration.
- Assist with data backup, recovery, and business continuity activities.
- Document processes, technology solutions, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with IT team members and business partners to support daily technology needs.
- Participate in projects focused on automation, efficiency, and emerging technologies.
- Present project findings and accomplishments to leadership at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, computer information systems, or a related field.
- Planning and project management skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, presenting ideas and opinions in a respectful and collegial manner.
- General knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system administration.
