About the role#
The Cybersecurity Intern works with IT and security professionals to understand how monitoring, risk management, and security tools protect business operations. This role allows you to apply your academic background to real-world security challenges while building technical and analytical skills.
What you'll do#
- Monitor cybersecurity tools, alerts, and system activity to identify potential risks.
- Support projects focused on network security, system protection, and risk management.
- Collect, organize, and analyze security events to understand threat response.
- Assist with testing and review activities to strengthen security controls.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity team members on operational improvements.
- Present your project findings and accomplishments to leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- You have an interest in network security, information protection, and risk management.
- You possess a basic knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity practices.
- You have planning and project management skills.
- You are willing to learn new technologies on the job.
- You work well in a team environment and communicate your ideas clearly.

- This is an on-site position based in Pineville, Louisiana.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
