About the role#
CK Associates Environmental Consultants is hiring an Air Quality Student Intern for our Baton Rouge office. This part-time position offers engineering and science students a chance to gain practical experience. We offer a flexible schedule that works around your school commitments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in preparing air permit applications and compliance documents.
- Perform data analysis.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets.
- Prepare basic reports.
What you'll need#
- Current college coursework in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with clients and coworkers.
- Willingness to work well both independently and in a team.
- Ability to meet all Drug and Alcohol, Health and Safety, and Security requirements.
- Completion of required safety and on-the-job training.
