Banking, Commercial Banking, Full-Time Analyst

About the role#

The Commercial Banking Full-Time Analyst Program is designed to develop the next generation of banking leaders. The program begins in July with a 10-week, in-depth training period that combines formal instruction with hands-on experience. Throughout the program, analysts receive ongoing training in sales, credit, products, and technology, supported by a mentorship structure. Analysts will work with businesses that have annual sales ranging from $10 million to over $3 billion, helping clients maximize growth through Citi’s suite of banking products, including lending, cash management, trade, and capital markets solutions.

What you'll do#

• Conduct company research and industry analysis.
• Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling, including company valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, and pro-forma analyses.
• Support the commercial lending process, including secured and unsecured revolving lines of credit, term loans, and syndicated loans.
• Take ownership of the client experience by partnering with Bankers and Product teams to identify and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Manage deals and prepare client presentations, such as pitch books, prospect memos, and business development decks.
• Interact with cross-functional teams including credit risk, legal, marketing, operations, and technology.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date in December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Major in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or in the future.
