About the role#
Circle of Life is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical support for clients in their homes. This role is designed for students in nursing or other healthcare programs who need a flexible schedule. We offer shifts that work around your classes and provide hands-on experience in the healthcare field.
What you'll do#
Caregivers assist clients with daily routines based on their individual care plans. Duties include:
- Providing companionship and supervision.
- Helping with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping.
- Running errands and providing transportation to appointments or events.
- Giving medication reminders.
- Assisting with recreational activities like exercise or writing.
What you'll need#
We look for people who are dependable and show genuine compassion. You do not need a CNA or PCA certification to start, though prior professional experience is helpful. We value experience caring for family members or loved ones as well.
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfort with providing personal care.
- A valid driver's license or reliable access to transportation.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
