About the role#
CHS Inc. is seeking an Energy Sales Intern for Summer 2027 in Hastings, Nebraska. This paid, full-time internship focuses on the daily operations of our energy team. You will work alongside our Certified Energy Specialists to understand how we support agriculture and serve our customers.
What you'll do#
- Shadow a Certified Energy Specialist to learn sales, marketing, and consulting processes for CENEX products.
- Attend sales calls and in-person meetings with commercial clients.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing customers.
- Learn about CHS energy programs and the Cenex brand.
- Observe the energy service team in the field to understand how the department functions.
- Complete a ride-along with a propane route driver to see how their work coordinates with the service and sales teams.
- Spend time with the Energy Manager to learn about safe, productive, and efficient operation management.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an energy, agriculture, or related field of study.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture or energy is helpful.
