About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Clarkston, Washington. You will work on-site to support our Agronomy Production Sales Specialists. The role involves direct interaction with customers to provide service and technical information.
What you'll do#
- Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving field agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize on-farm trials to share findings with customers and our team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to determine when treatment is necessary.
- Write reports and present them to your supervisor or customers.
- Learn to use the Agris software for invoicing and inventory tasks.
- Help with over-the-counter sales, product deliveries, warehouse operations, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies while assisting other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Prior agriculture experience or previous internship experience is helpful.
