About the role#
As an Agronomy Sales Intern, you will work directly with our customers and the agronomy team to provide service and expertise. This is a paid, full-time position based in Saint Hilaire, Minnesota. The internship term covers Summer 2027, with the possibility of starting as early as Spring 2027 depending on availability and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Support the Agronomy Sales Representative with field tasks like crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share results with customers and the team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to set treatment thresholds.
- Create written reports and present findings to supervisors or customers.
- Learn the details of our agronomy products and services, help with over-the-counter sales, and assist with product deliveries.
- Gain experience in warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
- Use the Agris software for inventory management and invoicing.
- Help maintain equipment and facilities while following environmental and safety policies.
- Perform custom application tasks if you hold the necessary qualifications.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience or knowledge in Agriculture is preferred.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
