About the role#
This internship provides experience in agronomy sales and operations. You will work directly with producers and our internal team to support field activities and customer service. This is a full-time, paid position based in Sycamore, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Support Agronomy Production Sales Specialists with field tasks like soil sampling, crop scouting, and solving agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize on-farm trials, then present your findings in written reports to supervisors and customers.
- Learn to operate warehouse and agronomy plant equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and use the Agris software for invoicing.
- Help with over-the-counter sales and product delivery.
- Maintain facility equipment and follow environmental and safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture.
- Previous internship experience.
