About the role#
Christensen Farms is hiring a Nutrition Intern to support our research and trial programs. You will work on-site in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, to manage data collection and help implement summer trials. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of research trials.
- Manage the data collection process, including weighing pigs and feed.
- Feed experimental animals and handle tagging and tattooing.
- Work alongside farm personnel to follow data collection protocols.
- Write trial summaries that explain your results and conclusions.
- Present your findings to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary agriculture program.
- Ability to think independently and use judgment to solve technical problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with the Nutrition and Research Coordinator.
- A high level of respect for your team members and the animals.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and quality standards in your work.
