About the role#
This internship offers an introduction to the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements and shadow audit professionals at all levels of the firm. The role is a full-time, paid position based in Virginia Beach for the Summer 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions, including happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
- Engage in team building and training initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or business administration program, roughly two years from graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred but not required.
- You are proficient with computers and spreadsheet software.
- You have the ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
