About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the public accounting profession. You will work with various supervisors on client engagements and build a foundation for your career. The position is a paid, full-time role based in Richmond, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals at various levels.
- Work with multiple supervisors across different client engagements.
- Participate in team building, training initiatives, and social functions like community service projects and lunches.
- Complete and present a research or marketing project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program, with at least two years remaining until graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
