About the role#
Marketing & Communications is seeking two creative individuals to gain graphic design experience while promoting campus events. This position is open to students, particularly those in graphic design or related creative majors. The role is budgeted for approximately 8 hours per week during the academic year, with hours varying based on project volume. Work is primarily remote, allowing students to set hours that align with their class schedules.
What you'll do#
- Design a variety of materials including flyers, banners, lawn signs, table tents, and Instagram graphics.
- Collaborate directly with clients across campus.
- Assist with additional project-related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Illustrator.
- Strong attention to detail regarding design work and adherence to written instructions.
- Ability to handle constructive criticism and meet project deadlines.
- Access to a computer. If you do not have an Adobe license, one will be provided.
- A portfolio demonstrating design skills is required for consideration, especially for applicants outside of creative majors.

- Employment Status: Paid, part-time student position.
- Note: Student employees may not work more than 20 hours per week combined across all campus jobs and may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year. This position does not automatically roll over to subsequent academic years or summer terms.
