Student Health Office Assistant

About the role#

This position supports the daily operations of the Student Health office, public health programming, and the Hunger Free Campus Task Force at Chatham University. This is a paid, on-site role open to students majoring in Public Health or Health Administration.

What you'll do#

• Greet students and answer inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Maintain the essential needs pantry and corner, including checking for expired products.
• Organize the stock room and handle filing tasks.
• Design and create office bulletin boards.
• Plan one event per semester in collaboration with the nurse.
• Staff monthly produce distribution events and monthly wholesale grocery club packaging.
• Manage the Student Health Services Instagram account with weekly posts.
• Collaborate with campus partners, including Athletics, the Counseling Center, and Student Engagement.

What you'll need#

• Ability to support daily office operations and event planning.
• Strong organizational skills for pantry and stock room management.
• Proficiency in managing social media content.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other campus offices.

• Employment Type: Full-time (Note: Students may not work more than 20 hours per week combined across all campus jobs during the academic year and may not exceed 980 hours per calendar year).
