About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring a Wealth Management Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time position based in Norfolk, Virginia. You will work in a hybrid environment and gain exposure to the financial industry at a registered investment advisory firm.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and participate in client presentations.
- Use CRM and financial planning software to support daily operations.
- Research stocks, bonds, and other securities.
- Assist with account linkups and portfolio maintenance.
- Participate in portfolio optimization, rebalancing, and backtesting.
- Prepare financial documents and performance reports alongside Financial Advisors.
- Contribute to Investment Committee and portfolio subcommittee meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations or previous professional work experience.
