About the role#
Centerstone offers internship opportunities for students pursuing a Master's degree in behavioral health. You will work under clinical supervision to provide services to diverse populations. Placements may take place in clinics, in the community, or a mix of both based on program needs. This is an unpaid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
- Perform initial assessments for clients.
- Maintain and update treatment plans.
- Complete all required clinical documentation.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a Master's program for professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
- Status as a student in good standing.
- Ability to communicate effectively through written, verbal, and virtual methods.
- Previous mental health experience is helpful but not required.
