About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in the Managed Care industry. You will contribute to projects that support business operations while applying your academic knowledge to real-world tasks. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support analyses regarding healthcare vendor performance, costs, savings, and return-on-investment.
- Extract claims and member data using SQL and clean large datasets.
- Analyze data in Excel and manage Power BI dashboards.
- Create visualizations, presentations, and summaries to share findings with business stakeholders.
- Research legal and regulatory topics relevant to the industry.
- Attend training sessions to build professional competencies.
- Contribute to various team projects and learn about different job functions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college.
- Preferred majors include Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.
- Experience working with SQL and Excel.
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
