About the role#
The Customer Material Pricing Analyst Student Intern will join our global team to support the processing, maintenance, and management of customer and product data. You will build relationships with external customers while working to meet their specific needs. This 16-month internship provides exposure to global supply chain operations and manufacturing environments. You will receive detailed instructions on assignments and work with increasing autonomy as you gain proficiency.
What you'll do#
- Receive, review, and interpret product data packages from external customers.
- Set up bills of material, component, and assembly data within internal databases to support material procurement and manufacturing.
- Communicate directly with customers to resolve issues regarding missing or inaccurate data.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks in a standard office environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a University Internship program, specifically completing the 3rd year of a 4-year degree.
- Academic background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Data Management, or Business and Commerce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a large team.
- Analytical capabilities and a willingness to learn new tasks quickly.
- Project management skills, as well as proficiency in German, French, or Chinese, are considered assets.
