About the role#
This is a 16-month internship focused on Continuous Improvement (CI) for our ATS sites. You will help develop and sustain CI standards across North America and Europe. This position offers exposure to CI principles, systems, and tools while working alongside experienced team members on various site and regional programs.
What you'll do#
- Support and lead regional CI programs and improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the governance of the Systematic CI Framework program.
- Manage CI recognition programs and coordinate the quarterly CI newsletter.
- Oversee monthly CI metric reporting and support operations reviews.
- Maintain and enhance the global CI website and Operations Central repository.
- Participate in process improvement workshops and assist in creating training materials.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a University or College Internship or Co-op program.
- Completion of your 3rd year in Engineering, Commerce, Arts & Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills and comfort with Microsoft Office or Google tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems in a team environment.
- Flexibility and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, PowerBI, dashboarding, or website design is an asset.
- Awareness of Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement principles is an asset.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada to meet Controlled Goods Program requirements.
