About the role#
The Surveillance Analyst Intern position offers an opportunity to work with our Regulatory team. You will gain insight into how we handle investigations, surveillance, cross-market regulation, and enforcement. This role is designed to help you develop professional skills and business knowledge while working alongside our staff.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to support regulatory investigations and examinations.
- Collect necessary data from trading firms and answer their general inquiries.
- Communicate with internal regulatory staff and external contacts.
- Document your findings in a clear, organized, and concise way.
- Write detailed explanations of transaction activity.
- Manage file documentation and handle uploads into FileNet.
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Evaluate and summarize facts to form logical conclusions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Business Forensics, Economics, Data Analytics, or Business Administration.
- Graduation date must be after December 2027.
- Proven ability to express facts and ideas in writing clearly and effectively.
