Tax Intern | Fall 2026

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time Tax Internship for the Fall 2027 term. You will work on-site in Philadelphia, assisting with tax assignments across diverse industries such as Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. You will participate in client engagements from start to finish while developing your technical tax compliance knowledge.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the planning of tax assignments across various industries.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and individuals.
• Support IRS audits, tax notice responses, and the preparation of trust, gift, and estate returns.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
• Adhere to professional standards regarding client confidentiality and personal conduct.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
• Demonstrated analytical, research, and project management skills.
• Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems in a team-oriented environment.
• Active participation in student organizations or prior relevant work experience is considered a plus.
