About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will participate in client assignments from beginning to end, gaining hands-on experience in the audit process. You will work across various industries including Real Estate, Construction, Nonprofit, and Manufacturing, supporting the planning and execution of audit engagements.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning multiple audit assignments across diverse industries.
- Apply accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards, and technology implementation procedures to client work.
- Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters, and improvement opportunities to senior staff to resolve client challenges.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff to support customer satisfaction and service goals.
- Adhere to high professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Active participation in student organizations or prior work experience in accounting is a plus.
