About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for Summer 2027 within the Risk Advisory practice. This role is based on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews and process walkthroughs with assistance from team members.
- Draft process narratives and perform testing procedures according to firm standards.
- Complete audit work papers as directed and clear comments in a timely manner.
- Vet findings with client contacts and articulate observations to management and teammates.
- Maintain regular communication regarding project status, issues, and resource availability.
- Interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including knowing when to ask for help.
- Travel is estimated at 5-10%.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technology field.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and in teams.
- Preferred: Active participation in student organizations or relevant work experience.
