About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Risk Advisory Internship for Summer 2027 based in Denver, Colorado. You will work on-site as part of a team providing business consulting services. This role involves approximately 5 to 10 percent travel.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews and process walkthroughs with the support of team members.
- Draft process narratives and perform testing procedures following firm standards.
- Complete audit work papers and vet findings with client contacts.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resource availability to management and teammates.
- Interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including knowing when to seek assistance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Data Science, Internal Audit, or MIS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and project management skills.
- Active participation in student organizations or prior work experience in a related field is a plus.
