About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship based in Houston, Texas. You will gain hands-on experience in risk advisory by supporting client engagements and working alongside experienced professionals. This role requires on-site attendance and involves approximately 5-10% travel.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews and process walkthroughs to draft narratives and perform testing.
- Complete audit work papers as directed and clear review comments in a timely manner.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resource availability to management and teammates.
- Articulate findings and observations to both internal teams and client contacts.
- Interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Work effectively both in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical aptitude for audit software.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems in a team-oriented setting.
