About the role#
The Risk Advisory Intern role is a full-time position for Summer 2027 based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This internship provides exposure to business consulting and services, requiring on-site presence and occasional travel of 5-10 percent.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews and process walkthroughs.
- Draft process narratives and perform testing procedures following firm standards.
- Complete audit work papers as directed and clear comments in a timely manner.
- Vet findings with client contacts and articulate observations to management and teammates.
- Maintain regular communication regarding project status, potential issues, and resource availability.
- Interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Work both in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels of an organization.
- Capacity to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems within a team environment.
- Active participation in student organizations or relevant work experience is preferred.
