About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Risk Advisory internship for Summer 2027 based in Oklahoma City. You will work within a team environment to support audit and advisory projects, gaining hands-on experience in client-facing professional services.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews and process walkthroughs to draft process narratives.
- Perform testing procedures and complete audit work papers as directed.
- Vet findings with client contacts and articulate observations to management and teammates.
- Maintain regular communication regarding project status, budgets, and resource availability.
- Interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Travel for business as needed, estimated at 5 to 10 percent of the time.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting, Cybersecurity, or Business Administration.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Ability to multitask, think independently, and solve problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience through student organizations or previous work in accounting or related fields is a plus.
