About the role#
The Risk Advisory Intern position is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides exposure to professional consulting and audit services within a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews and process walkthroughs to draft process narratives.
- Perform testing procedures in accordance with firm standards.
- Complete audit work papers and clear comments in a timely manner.
- Communicate project status, findings, and observations to management and teammates.
- Interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Work both independently and in teams, with occasional minimal supervision.
- Manage time budgets and report project delays or overages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, with a preference for majors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Internal Audit, or MIS.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Active participation in student organizations or relevant work experience is preferred.
