Business Operations Intern

About the role#

The Business Operations Intern will provide administrative support to the leadership team and assist with regional office priorities. This role involves managing daily office tasks, preparing business documentation, and serving as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries.

What you'll do#

• Provide administrative support including document preparation, scanning, and mail coordination.
• Assist with calendar management, meeting preparation, and expense report processing.
• Support office operations by providing receptionist coverage and assisting visitors.
• Draft and update business documents such as memos and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office.
• Handle professional inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to regional administrative special projects as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical aptitude for tools like Outlook and AI applications.
• Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
• High level of attention to detail and customer service orientation.

Location & details#

• Location: Chesterfield, Missouri.
• Work Modality: On-site at least three days per week, Monday through Friday.
• Commitment: 20–25 hours per week during core business hours, with blocks of at least two hours per shift.
• Flexibility: Availability for periodic additional hours outside of core business hours, including evenings or Saturdays, may be required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
