    About the role#

    CASA DE LA FAMILIA seeks an undergraduate student to complete internship hours at our Santa Ana office. This role focuses on administrative support for our case managers and office operations. This is a non-paid internship requiring a commitment of at least 10 hours per week for 6 months.

    What you'll do#

    • Answer and direct phone calls and act as the primary point of contact for clients.
    • Organize schedules, plan meetings, and record detailed minutes.
    • Manage correspondence including emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
    • Assist with report preparation and maintain office policies and procedures.
    • Manage contact lists, order supplies, and research new vendors.
    • Provide support for community mental health events before and during the actual event.
    • Research and track upcoming community mental health events.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a focus on Psychology.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
    • Prior experience as an administrative or office assistant.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Working knowledge of office equipment like printers and fax machines.
    • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
    • Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and maintain attention to detail.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
