About the role#
The Operational Excellence Co-op position exposes you to various projects within the Crown Lean Management System. Depending on your background and current department needs, your work will be either project-based or focused on specific events and experiences.
What you'll do#
- Support value stream mapping projects and events using software like Video TimerPro, eVSM, and Visio.
- Assist with continuous improvement, 5S, and process mapping events across multiple plants and departments.
- Help develop web-based and instructor-led training modules using tools like PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Build and maintain pages for lean resources on the Operational Excellence SharePoint site, including dashboards and tracking systems.
- Track historical data for continuous improvement events and assessments.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Operations Management or an engineering field like Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial.
- You enjoy problem-solving and finding ways to improve processes.
- You can work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues.
- You communicate information clearly.
- You have your own reliable transportation and are willing to travel.
