Resident Coordination Intern

About the role#

As a Resident Coordination Intern, you will serve as a primary point of contact for residents and prospective clients. This role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through effective leasing, resident retention, and administrative support. You will work on-site in a team environment to ensure the community operates smoothly and that residents receive high-quality service.

What you'll do#

• Act as a customer service ambassador by consistently meeting and exceeding resident expectations.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks, including completing lease applications and maintaining accurate lease file documentation.
• Participate in the planning and execution of community events and other projects assigned by the Community Manager.
• Assist with leasing activities, including greeting prospective clients, answering inquiries, conducting tours, and following up on leads.
• Stay informed on market conditions and maintain the cleanliness of the property tour path.
• Perform on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds, as required.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours completed and a minimum of one year of study finished.
• A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and reside on the assigned community floor.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks like walking, standing, and reaching across the property.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
